Dr. Zico Junius Fernando, S.H.,M.H., CIL, C.Med.
Zico Junius Fernando is a Partner at Pandhega Baksya Law Firm and a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Bengkulu. As an expert in criminal law and corporate law, he has built a strong reputation as both a practitioner and an academic. He has a solid educational background, holding a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the University of Bengkulu, as well as a Doctorate in Law from Diponegoro University. This combination of academic and professional experience has established him as a prominent figure in the legal field.
In the professional arena, he actively contributes to various legal organizations. He is one of the founders and board members of the Association of Criminal Law and Criminology Educators (ASPERHUPIKI) and serves as the Chairperson of the Regional Leadership Council of the Criminal Law and Criminology Society (MAHUPIKI) for Bengkulu Province. Additionally, he holds the position of Head of Public Relations at the Indonesian Association of Victimology Educators (APVI) and serves on the board of the Criminal Law Institute (CLI). In the area of anti-corruption, Zico is certified as a Primary-Level Anti-Corruption Educator by LSP KPK RI.
He is also an active member of various professional associations, including the Association of Legal Laboratories and Clinics, the Association of Pancasila and Citizenship Education Lecturers, the Indonesian Community Service Lecturers Association, and the Indonesian Association of Anti-Corruption Education Lecturers (ADPAKI). Furthermore, he serves as the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Cendikiawan Nusantara (CENDIKARA), an organization for recipients and alumni of the Indonesia Education Scholarship.
In legal practice, he has extensive experience as a lawyer with several law firms and legal aid institutions, including LBH Bumi Rafflesia, LBH Swarna Bhumi, and LBH Partai Perindo in Bengkulu Province. Throughout his career, he has handled various complex criminal and corporate law cases with a steadfast commitment to justice and integrity.
As an active member of the Indonesian Advocates Congress (KAI), he is also recognized as a prolific writer, having authored books and scholarly articles indexed in Scopus, WoS, and Sinta. Through his multifaceted roles as a lawyer, academic, and legal activist, Zico continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of legal science and the pursuit of justice in Indonesia.
